Welcome to March!  I believe this month has the potential to be a new beginning for the Highland Family.  For the last two weeks, we've been talking about The Power of One.   We have one Lord, one love and one life.  This year, I'm praying that - if nothing else happens -   the Holy Spirit will light a fire in each of us that will burn with a "white-hot" love for our Savior.

On Sunday morning, March 14, we will return to one Sunday morning service.  By the time we get there, you should have received and seen much promotion of our new schedule.  There will be a time of fellowship beginning at 8:45.  Sunday School will start at 9:00 and Worship at 10:15.  Please make your plans to be here on that day.  It is "time-change" Sunday and it is time for this change.  I believe we will experience the Power of One when we come together as one family, in one place, at one time, for one purpose - to worship the King of Kings.

GPS - God's Plan for Sharing is coming. Throughout the month of March, we will be praying and asking God to make GPS a success.  We are praying for two things.  First, we are praying for and signing up to participate in The Walk.  On Saturday, March 27, we need over 300 of our church family members to walk neighborhoods in Florence.  You will be asked to do two things.  Pray for each home in your as- signed area and hang a bag on the door.  That bag will contain two things - a copy of the gospel and an invitation to Easter Sunday at Highland.  We will - in effect - share the plan of salvation with, invite to Highland, and pray over approximately 10,000 homes.  It is an effort bigger than anything we've attempted in a long time and it is an effort worth our commitment.  Make your plans to get involved.

The second thing we are praying for throughout the month of March is a harvest on Easter Sunday.  Although we are returning to one service as our regular schedule, Easter's crowd always demands two.  We are praying that this year's Easter services will be the best attended we've ever had and that we will see many people make decisions for Christ.  Please join that prayer with all of your heart.

Highland, your pastor loves you and I believe the best is yet to come.  March is going to be fun.  Don't miss a minute of it.
