I like September! It means the hot weather is just about over and a new football season is officially here. I like both of those things and when you put them together, life doesn't get much better. This September is even more special for our family. On Saturday, September 4, my parents will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. They have been such a blessing and an inspiration to so many people. In these days of failing commitment and disposable relationships, when families die every day, I am thankful that the people who have influenced my life the most have been role models of faithfulness, commitment and endurance. Thanks Mom and Dad for walking out the truth of God-honoring commitment and letting Christ be your "hope of glory." Charman, Elizabeth, Johnathan and I love you very much.
